Practical info about the festival

Here comes some practical info about WTM. Read it and you’ll get an even better festival.

Before you go to your first show during the festival, you need to exchange your ticket to a festival wristband.

Note: The wristband can only be collected personally (you can’t collect a wristband for your friend), and 1-day tickets can only be exchanged during the day the ticket is valid.

The concerts are held at venues with a capacity between 150-900 people. It can and will be full at many venues during the festival, and you are not guaranteed entrance.

Therefore, be head for the gigs your really want to see in good time before they start.

A tip: If there is a very long queue for the venue you want to enter, try another venue. There are plenty of great artists to discover during WTM.

There are maps in the app (both GPS and regular maps). But you can also download the map as pdf.

The festival has an 18-year limit. The age limit is strict and also applies to children accompanied by their parents. Be prepared to show ID to prove your age.

Wardrobes is not available at all venues, but at the venues where there is a wardrobe it will be free of charge.

It is not allowed to bring large bags (such as suitcases and big backpacks) into the venues. On the other hand, it’s okay to carry handbags and similar smaller bags.

System cameras (ie all cameras with removable lenses) may not be brought to the venues. On the other hand, mobile cameras and compact cameras are all right.

Do not forget to tag all the pictures you upload with #WTMfest2018 so we can see them. We want to follow you from the pre-party to the middle of the audience – tag everything!
